November 6, 2019, Wednesday

Land Ho!  Our Plymouth Plantation was a very busy center this morning.  Our morning workshop tables were turkey painting, Thanksgiving mat number matching, and beading.  At morning meeting we had our tweet and greet, went through our schedule for our busy day, and learned a bunch of new songs that we will sing at our Thanksgiving Feast.

Snack today was mango slices, cucumbers with ranch, and popcorn pretzel mix.  After snack we went outside to stretch our legs before our special visitor.  We then came in and listened to a story with Dr. Jenn.  She provided a write up of what she talked to the children about today.  You will find it in your child's folder.

After lunch we met for our Thanksgiving story.  The children were then given the chance to choose the costume that they want to make for the feast day.  We had a fun sharing circle with a talking feather where each friend had a chance to share some thoughts about Thanksgiving.  All of the children pretty much decided that the feast should be called the Turkey Ball and we should have popcorn.  So add it to the list!  Popcorn it is!
