The Emmanuel Day School teaching staff is a team of professional instructors committed to the educational, social and spiritual growth of each child. Working closely together, they nurture the creativity and curiosity of preschool children through innovative programs and activities that teach, motivate and encourage all aspects of early childhood development. Dedicated to bring out the best in each individual child and to foster a climate of respect and trust, they develop a healthy atmosphere in which young minds are encouraged to question and learning is a joy for both students and teachers.
The child-parent-teacher team plays a key role in our school’s concept of education. In partnership with families together we give our students the most valuable lesson of all: the lifelong love of learning.

Our community of families is extremely important to us! We proudly serve our neighbors on Aquidneck Island; holding many special family events throughout the school year. Our population is a glorious mix of local and military families. We at Emmanuel Day School are extremely honored to have the majority of families whose children attend our program come from referrals.
Emmanuel Day School offers a full school day program for its students. We open our doors at 8 AM each day. Arrival time is anywhere within the first hour. Dismissal begins at 2 PM.
Our school is BrightStars rated and is licensed through the Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families with The Rhode Island Department of Education’s Early Learning Standards providing the framework for our curriculum. Emmanuel Day School includes Chapel led twice a week by the Rector of Emmanuel Church.
