This morning we began building our log cabin for our Plymouth Plantation! Keep those logs rolling in (paper towel tubes, toilet paper tubes, wrapping paper tubes....tubes!) Our other morning workshop activities were pumpkin play dough, acrobat connectors, matching game, acorn leaf sensory table and beading.
We went outdoors early after our snack of olives, cucumbers and goldfish raisin mix. The rain was threatening to roll in, so we got our fresh air early. Send in the gear for cold weather tomorrow please, it is expected to be near 30 degrees.
We had a pow wow when we came in from outdoors to learn our new letter of the week, Letter I. We worked in our HWT workbooks on our Letter I page.
After lunch we continued feathering our turkey paintings and telling fun turkey stories.
Dr. Jenn came for a visit and talked to the children about our angry feelings and what we can do to make ourselves feel better when we are angry.
