Snack today was vanilla yogurt, apple slices and figs. After snack we listened to bat stories and talked bat facts and read a fun new Pete the Cat Pizza Party book. Today we had three work groups after story time, symmetry bat painting (you can see those swooping around our bat cave center), bat headbands which involved a lot of cutting with scissors, and apple counting where we practiced our one-to-one correspondence and number formation.
We went outdoors for recess today.
After pizza we joined together to make Bat Man...out of Mat Man! A fun holiday twist on Mat Man. We completed our morning work and headed back outside for a good runabout together with our friends before our weekend!
