Tonight we are sip, sip, sipping the cider and pop, pop, popping the corn at 5:30 in the school yard! We are expecting a nice evening for our festivities. The children have some Halloween songs to sing too. We will be singing at 6 pm.
Our morning workshop was spent investigating pumpkins after we carved some more pumpkins for our party. Miss Terri roasted the seeds with her special recipe for the children to enjoy after lunch. We also had Halloween town set up for story telling and Halloween pattern strips.
Our snack today was raisins, peanut butter crackers, and grapes. After snack we read We Like Pumpkins, and had story theater for the story Room On The Broom. Reenacting stories takes some time, so we headed right outdoors to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.
After lunch we introduced the letter P. P for Pumpkins on Parade Party! We worked in our HWT workbooks and drew pictures in our journals. We ended our day outside on the playground.
Thank you all for such a fun and festive Halloween Ball! Our Pumpkins on Parade were spooktacular! From dinosaurs to unicorns, super heroes and princesses and bats too we really captured a Halloween spirit! Hope everyone enjoyed the songs, cider and popcorn. Wishing you all a Happy Halloween week!
