We started our morning with a lot of Halloween fun! Purple Monster painting and Cutting jack-o-lanterns! There was big pumpkin painting too. Our classroom is feeling very festive. We did not have a morning meeting because Miss Cathy came for a visit from the Newport Public Library! She had some fun felt board stories to share, too, about Halloween and pumpkins. Our friends made a jack-o-lantern that you will find in their folders.
Our snack was yogurt cups and pretzels. After snack we went outside to enjoy the gorgeous fall day. Lots of ladybugs were found which is always exciting. Ladybugs are good luck!
After lunch we continued working on our Halloween projects, also making bat prints with our hands. We danced to the song, Going On a Vampire Hunt, which is much like Going On a Bear Hunt, but spooky.
