It is official, we have 8 chicks, 4 yellow and 4 black. What a great hatch! On Monday and Tuesday the children will be able to pet the chicks before we return them to their home at Casey Farm on Wednesday. A reminder that there will be no school on Wednesday, and we will all meet at the Farm in the morning!
We will look for our caterpillars to be in their chrysalides on Monday! We talked about the butterfly lifecycle today.
Our friends played Paleontologist today and chipped away at ice blocks to dig free the dinosaur bones! We played "Guess the Dinosaur in the Egg" from giving dinosaur clues. We also sang some dinosaur songs.
Our snack today was bananas, oranges and cheese cracker and pretzel trail mix. After snack we headed right outdoors to catch the sunshine while it was out. We painted our graduation bodies and read stories after lunch.
