Mother Anita held Godly Play today. She told the creation story and talked about Earth Day
We ate the rainbow for snack today. We had a lovely display of vegetables, red, yellow, green peppers, broccoli, and carrots with pretzels and hummus. After snack, we went outdoors to enjoy this perfect spring day.
After lunch we met with Chelsea Chicken for our magic egg that shows us what is happening inside our eggs on day 17. We are so excited because the chicks are turning toward the air pocket in preparation for hatching. Four more days to hatch day. We celebrated by dancing to The Dinosaur March, chosen by our birthday boy.
We ended our day with a special visitor, Miss Abbey from Newport Preservation Society, came for a visit and planted a seed with the children. We will watch the seedlings grow and transplant them into our school garden. She shared a coloring page of the life of a seedling with the children which was packed to go home.
