Hippity Hoppity Easter's on its way. We had an Easter Egg Tree and house for decorating and story telling at morning workshop today. Our sensory tub was filled with Easter grass and eggs for discovery and the house has eggs for hiding. We had an egg counting worksheet to practice writing our numbers and counting.
At morning meeting we reviewed our very busy month of April. We learned a new poem and how to be raindrops and flowers blooming with our bodies. The letter Q was introduced with its best friend U. Our question of the day was, "Do you walk to school?"
Our snack was fresh carrots and broccoli with ranch or hummus and pretzel sticks. After snack we had a special request to read HOW DO ANIMALS TALK, and we also read EASTER BUNNY'S LOST EGG. At centers we continued art work and studying the letter Q.
It was a great day to be outdoors playing! We received a wonderful donation of bubbles, colorful hula hoops and balls that brighten up our outdoor play yard. Thank you all for all of your wonderful donations! We also were refreshed with sanitizing wipes and tissues! All so, so helpful, truly grateful.
After lunch we learned some new songs to sing together for our future Mother's Day Tea. We finished our day with some bubble art and stickers.
