For the remainder of the school week we will have our delightful substitute Miss Nancy at school while Miss Terri is away. Miss Nancy is not only a teacher, but also an artist! Today she taught a fantastic lesson on sculpture. The children were captivated listening to her talk about Michelangelo and the sculpting process. Together they worked with Miss Nancy to create their very own sculpture. Photos of this project will be featured at the Art Show!
We also worked on bubble paint and other art projects as we finalize our art for the grand show next week.
We had fun in the mud this morning and ended our day outside in the warm sunshine.
