Hold on to your hats! We have 7 birthdays to celebrate in this new month of April, and that is no April Fool's joke. Our eggs will be arriving next week, and we host our annual Art Show the evening of the 11th! Wowza! We are so busy, we're dizzy! There is a lot of fun to be had for sure. I think you can tell from today's photo gallery that our friends had a grand time celebrating a friend's 4th birthday today. Some learned how to blow a party blowout horn today! We colored a giant birthday card and had cupcakes after lunch too.
Mother Anita held Godly Play today in the morning. She built the lenten cross with the children and introduced the dessert box. She told the story of how Jesus spent time in the desert on the days leading up to Easter.
Snack today was grapes and yogurt with pretzels. After snack we went outdoors for fresh air and sunshine.
At morning meeting, we talked about our busy month ahead and introduced the letter Q. We danced to the phonics song before we broke into our workbook groups to practice our letter Q.
After lunch we danced to the birthday song and had a parade. Some friends were catching up with some art work as we still have some pieces to finish up.
