Today we found ourselves bubbling in paint and paint stamping for the art show! Next week, we will look forward to exploring sculpture with our guest artist, Miss Nancy!
Morning workshop tables were an ocean fishing water table, sticker scenes, and coloring pages and dot art. Our snack was yogurt and graham crackers.
Show and Share Letter X was a big success! Our friends enjoyed sharing their stories with one another. Thank you all for your creativity with this difficult letter! After show and share, we went outdoors for fresh air. We were happy the rain stayed away!
After lunch, we went back to our Fun Friday roots and had a dance party! I was happy to hear a lot of "I hear this song at my house," reactions. The children were free to play instruments or just move their body. We try to discourage rolling on top of each other. It is a very natural thing for the children to want to do, but it often leads to injury. After dancing, we settled into finishing up some projects and listening to a story before going outside to end our day!
