Mother Anita held Godly Play today. She told the story of why we celebrate Palm Sunday.
Snack today was carrots, cheese sticks and pretzels. After snack, we headed out into the sunshine. The breeze was just perfect for blowing bubbles today! It was so lovely outside we played outside right through center time! We have been working so hard on all of our art work that it was a beautiful day to take a bit of a break from it and enjoy the outdoors.
After lunch we came together on our meeting rug for our question of the day, "What color do you make if you mix blue and yellow?" We have been talking a lot about color. We read the story GOING ON AN AIRPLANE. We celebrated our last day with two friends that are moving and taking an airplane to their new home. We had a robust discussion about our experiences on a real air plane. We ended our day with a group hug and fond farewell for our friends!
