Snack was yogurt, cheese sticks and oranges. After snack we had Show and Share. Thank you all for the fun Letter L items that you brought in to share. We had a smaller group today, so we opened the floor for questions. We do not always get to do that, so it is special when we can. We went outdoors today. The day was spring-like! Who would have thought after the frosty morning we came in to. Warm days mean MUD days! Thank you for sending in those boots! It helps them enjoy their time outdoors so much more.
After lunch Mother Anita held Godly Play. She reviewed what is happening on the church calendar and told the story about a special monk. It was a story about prayer and how this Monk would settle himself into prayer with special breathing and movement and meditation. Many friends were quick to strike a yoga pose! Thank you, Mother Anita, for these special stories.
We ended our day outside in the sunshine.
