At morning meeting we opened a Large Letter to EDS that had many things in it about the letter L. We also had letters for each friend in our circle. We read the address on the letter, and they had to listen to see if they were being called to put their letter up on our check in board. Many of our friends know their address! We danced to the Beatles Birthday Song. After morning meeting we enjoyed a delicious snack of cheese cubes, fresh veggies (eat the rainbow), and grapes.
We took a bit longer with our story rug time today. We re-enacted the story of Little Red Riding Hood after reading it. We all enjoyed it so, but sadly we missed our table work for the letter L. We decided to do it LATER...see what I did there...We went outdoors for play. It was brisk, so we were not out there too long. We came in to work on our Letter L page before lunch.
When it is letter L week, you must LIMBO. How LOW can you go...was the challenge. You can ask your child who the champion Limbo dancer was. We then settled in to read The Wonkey Donkey to end our day.
