November 5, 2018, Monday

Today we were thankful for Miss Sarah and her birthday!  We made a giant birthday card for her and enjoyed some home baked brownies with sprinkles after lunch.  Happy Birthday Miss Sarah!

Our morning workshop tables were ocean sand, fashionable fowl turkey making and drawing.  At morning meeting we talked about our plans for our Thanksgiving Feast and practiced our songs for that special day ahead. We also introduced the letter C.  We looked for letter Cs in our names and talked about how much cooking we are going to do this month and that the word "cooking" starts with the letter C.

Our snack was grapes, carrots and celery, and pretzels.  After snack we headed for the great outdoors before it decided to rain on us.

After lunch we gathered for the story THANKSGIVING DAY and we talked a bit about the first Thanksgiving and what is was like to live that long ago.  Our Mayflower ship has been freshly painted and is ready for sail.

In our math room we have our Triangle Turkey set up ready for those family feathers to start rolling in!  Enjoy decorating your family feather any way you wish.

We ended our day on the story rug retelling 5 Fat Turkeys Sitting on a Gate.
