October 26, 2018, Friday Field Trip Day

Image result for pumpkin patch clip artIt was an overcast chilly morning at the Pumpkin Patch, but we were all ready to go exploring!  Explore indeed!  The Farmer's Daughter proved to be a delightful place for young people to run and take in the joys of the Fall season.  Thank you to all that joined us today.  We gathered for a group picture and then took to the wagons for  "bumpy hayride heaven"....that is quote from one of our story books 10 LITTLE PUMPKINS.  We drove through the woods to find a pumpkin field to pick a pumpkin.  There was a rather strange and fun group of scarecrows in the field too.  Once we drove back on the wagons, we got to meet the 3 goats (not the Gruffs), Lulu, Pumpkin and Pancake.   We had a quick picnic and then back to the haybale maze, ring toss, pumpkin catapulting, and corn hole!

Some reminders from Miss Carissa-
It sounds like you all had a marvelous and enriching adventure to the pumpkin patch today! Thank you to all who joined and helped make this a fun day!
