We began our day with Godly Play. Mother Anita reviewed the story of Adam and Eve and read some story books about creation.
Our snack was Clementines, cheese sticks and yogurt.
After snack we went outside for some sunshine and play.
We shared a story about the pumpkin life cycle and retold the story of BIG PUMPKIN. I am sure your child would love to tell you what happens in the BIG PUMPKIN STORY and what part they got to play. After all that pumpkin talk, it was time to open up a real pumpkin and do some exploring! We could use a lot of S words to describe the inside of a pumpkin. Slimy, seedy, squishy....We saved the seeds, washed them and roasted them for a delicious treat. Miss Terri makes the best pumpkin seeds! We look forward to it every fall.
We ended our day outside in the sunshine.
