September 12, 2018, Wednesday

We had a wonderful Wednesday.  Our morning workshop tables were play dough, frame-a-face, and working on a special weather poster about our favorite weather with Miss Terri.  If you have always wondered what your child's favorite weather day is, please check out our bulletin board in the Science Room!

At morning meeting we learned a new poem about a barn owl.  We danced to the song "Good Morning" by Greg and Steve. Following morning meeting, we had a snack of pretzels with hummus and fresh cut zucchini and carrots.

Our center work today was working on our "Shapes We Love To Eat" page for our class book with Miss Kate.  We painted a weather picture for our Science Room bulletin board with Miss Terri, and participated in a special school interview with Miss Sarah.  We also found time to draw some self-portraits!  The self-portraits are displayed on the wall in our Home Living Center.  They will be placed in your child's portfolio that you will receive in June.

We were fortunate to get outside for recess before the rain came down!  That fresh air and large motor movement is so important for our school day.

After lunch, we ended our day working together on an alphabet trains puzzle.  We read the story "It's Okay to Make Mistakes" by Todd Parr.  We also had an opportunity to work on our Graph-It board in our Math Room.  The children graphed their favorite shape to eat.

Photos coming soon.
Thank you!
