This was a super fun Friday! We celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday today! We read HOP ON POP and 10 APPLES ON TOP. We learned that Dr. Seuss is an author that likes to use rhyming words and silly words to write stories. We made a Cat in The Hat style hat and talked about how it is a color pattern of white and red. Red is an R word! Ms. Augeri read Rosy's Red Radish. We played songs from our favorite movies and dressed up all day! We even wore dress up to morning meeting. Ms. Carissa came to visit and she brought Harrison for all the children to meet. It was very special! We sang a song to him, The Itsy-Bitsy Spider. We thought that was perfect because the rain was sure coming down today. Snack was oranges, grapes, watermelon, and cheese sticks. We had indoor recess. How lucky we are to be able to ride bikes inside and get some good open space exercise on such a blustery day.
We got out some different building materials today.
The Hair Salon is open. It is so windy out there, this might be difficult to maintain.
