Today we began to talk about our Art Show. Our Art Studio has opened up with a special Creation Station. We talked about what the word Art means and what types of Art we will be studying. Ms. Terri read LITTLE BLUE AND LITTLE YELLOW and I SPY COLORS IN ART. We also began to plan and make our leprechaun traps. We mixed two colors together to make green paint for them. You may ask your child what two colors did they use to make green. We went outdoors for recess. Our snack was carrots, zucchini, tomatoes with ranch dip and trail mix. The March calendar has gone home in backpacks. Please look for the special homework page that is decorating a lucky family shamrock. Also, there is a flyer about our upcoming Chili cook-off and Mac down. Here is the Potluck link to sign up for this event: https://perfectpotluck.com/meals.php?t=VOFS4393
Potato head designs.
That is a good morning's work!
They are very proud of their creation.
We read THE NIGHT BEFORE ST. PATRICK'S DAY a tad early this year so we could study the leprechaun traps in this storybook.
What would you paint with your lion tail? Paint response to a wonderful story book.
Retelling the 3 Bears. We just love this story. Today the 3 Bears went fishing in the woods.
When you hug blue and yellow you make green, when you hug these to you'll see...a new color magically! When you hug blue and yellow you make green. That is a little song we sing while we mix the paint together.
Outdoor recess. A bit blustery today.
5, 6 pick up sticks!
Look what we built! 3 birds in a nest.
Waiting for the show to start.
Special reading time. We love when Ms. Jackie comes to play.
I wonder if we will find a pot of gold under that rainbow.
We got a lot of help.
Our house moved!
