The children began their day exploring centers.
Everyone painted the ocean on paper to start our classroom book of friends. Within 2 weeks, we will begin sending this picture book home with a friend each night to share with their family. This is a fun and wonderful way to get to know and recognize all our friends faces and names.
We are settling into our morning meeting routine very nicely. The children chose and performed their jobs and danced to GOING TO THE BEACH!
Snack was watermelon, goldfish, and cheese sticks.
We enjoyed a fun reading time together. You can see the books we shared pictured below.
We played outside in the beautiful sunshine before and after lunch. Please remember to apply sunscreen before school each morning. Also send a fresh water bottle and a hat every day.
