We had a great start to our new year at EDS! A few parents were crying, but the children were all smiles!
The children enjoyed meeting their new classmates. We read the story ONLY ONE YOU which is filled with lovely messages about never being afraid to be yourself. The book is filled with illustrations of schools of different fish in the ocean. They then painted their very own fish creation on a rock which will be sent home when they are dry!
We sang YOU AND ME GO FISHING IN THE SEA and danced to our favorite GOLDFISH song.
The children completed a first day interview and drew pictures of their favorite part of school today!
As part of our morning together time, the children chose a school job. You can ask your child what job they chose. It was a very full day, so do not be alarmed if they do not recall!
Please remember to complete and return any paperwork and send in your extra set of clothes.
