The children had Godly Play with Abouna this morning where she told the story of Exile from Babylon. She ended with a prayer that reminds the children that God is always with them.
Snack today was animal crackers, tangerines and cheese sticks. After snack our friends worked on fairy tale paper dolls and writing words for painted puffy hearts that will decorate our classroom and our ice cream social. We painted the hearts with our hands in honor of H week.
We had outdoor recess today where we rode bikes, played in the sandbox, played ball and teeter totter.
After lunch we had show and share for letter H. Thank you all for the very creative H items! We had great variety of words. We then continued our morning work and had free play until dismissal time.
