At morning meeting we had tweet and greet and talked about our upcoming field trips. We welcomed Miss Pam back today to fill in for Miss Sarah. We reviewed the letter F then danced to our Valentine Song. We learned a new song today, I'm Going To Mail Myself to You.
Snack was pretzels, blueberries and bananas. After snack we read one of our favorite pizza stories for pizza Friday from Miss Pam. Pete the Cat's Pizza Party with story props hand made by Miss Pam. It is a silly story about a pizza party where all the friends want to add some funny P words onto the pizza. You can ask your child if they remember what they put on the pizza for the story.
We raced outside to get into that beautiful sunshine. We rode bikes, played ball and frisbee, dug in the dirt, played hide and seek and chase.
With our pizza lunch today, we had cantaloupe, cucumbers and blueberries and animal crackers for dessert.
We ended our day playing some fun games. We split into two different groups. One group played Mailperson, Mailperson, Who's Got the Mail. This is a fun guessing game where someone dresses as a mail carrier and hides their eyes while the rest of the group hides an envelope. The mail carrier has to guess who has the mail. The other group played a game of number bingo at a table. We switched so everyone got to play the fun games.
