At morning meeting we had tweet and greet, talked about our schedule of the day, and talked about our last day with letter D. For each of these activities each day, we have a different friend lead. It is wonderful to see all of the children eager to have a job at morning meeting, and we understand it is hard to wait for our turn.
Our snack was applesauce pouches and pretzels. After snack we re-enacted the story of The Three Bears. Over the weekend, the three bears will move out and a new fairy tale will move in. After sitting through story theater, we were ready for fresh air! It was such a nice warm day to be outside.
A good day for bike riding. The kitchen was out for the sand box in case any bears wanted to make porridge.
After lunch we met in the pond biome to sing and act out the song 5 Little Speckled Frogs. How fun that we even had real logs and a real pool for the speckled frogs to jump into! We worked on our 7 dwarfs math graph with an activity lead by Snow White herself. (Shhh she was really a puppet.) We ended our day back outdoors. Please send in those rain boots if you have them, it is very, very muddy in our play yard.
