Happy Hatching Day!!
So far we have four little chicks! More are hatching! Come check them out tomorrow!
Wednesday, May 20th we are walking to the Newport Public Library.
Parents are welcome to join us for this visit, but it is not mandatory.
We are leaving EDS at 10am to walk to the library. At 10:30 we will meet Miss Cathy in the library for a behind the scenes library tour and get library cards! If you would like your child to get their own library card, please complete and return the paperwork as soon as possible. After our session with Miss Cathy, we will return to the park for a picnic and more play. We will be walking back to EDS at 1pm.
Please dress for the weather, we will go rain or shine. Don't forget a water bottle, a picnic lunch and sunscreen! Looking forward to a fun day!
The students: watched the chicks hatch, explored centers, practiced for graduation, participated in morning meeting, had indoor recess, listened to a story, studied the chicks, drew picture stories and created our own chicks.
Thursday! Graduate class Marine Field Trip is May 21st at 10am. Dress for the weather! No uniforms!
Please send in a white t-shirt for your child to decorate for graduation!
