This week at EDS:
TOMORROWS Graduate class Marine Field Trip is POSTPONED due to weather. We will be going Thursday, May 21st at 10am.
HATCHING WEEK! The chicks are hatching this week! We heard them chirping in their eggs today!
Wednesday, May 20th we are walking to the Newport Public Library.
Parents are welcome to join us for this visit, but it is not mandatory.
We are leaving EDS at 10am to walk to the library park. We will play at the park until 11. At 11 we will meet Miss Cathy in the library for a behind the scenes library tour and get library cards! If you would like your child to get their own library card, please complete and return the paperwork as soon as possible. After our session with Miss Cathy, we will return to the park for a picnic and more play. We will be walking back to EDS at 1pm.
Please dress for the weather, we will go rain or shine. Don't forget a water bottle, a picnic lunch and sunscreen! Looking forward to a fun day!
Please send in a white t-shirt for your child to decorate for graduation!

Tuesday, May 26th Field Trip to Casey Farm. Meet at the Farm at 10am, dress for the farm and pack a picnic lunch.
Friday, May 29th Field Trip to NBS Third Beach Center. Meet at the Third Beach Center at 10am. Dress for the weather, pack a picnic lunch.
The students: explored centers, practiced for graduation, participated in morning meeting, tracked chick development, had outdoor play, worked on alphabet books, and listened to and retold a story about chicks.
