We were busy bees! This morning we continued to paint stamped the apple star with a real apple. We read the story Ten Apples Up on Top and even tried to balance an apple on our head!
Our bones are almost complete, we continued painting them today. We keep our science lessons age appropriate. Our focus for bones was that they shape our body, that bones are connected, our bones change as we grow until we are 18 years old, and certain foods help keep our bones strong.
For snack we had guacamole and pita with snap peas and celery. What a fun green snack!
Our study of M and the #3 continued with more practice with HWT and workbooks. We also practied making the letter M with our bodies. This was great practice in teamwork!
It was another gorgeous Fall day to be outside. Sadly, it looks like storms for our picnic tonight, so we will be inside!
Abouna is planning a Blessing of the Animals where you can bring your pets to Emmanuel for a special church service and have your pets blessed. More information to follow on when that event will be taking place in October.
