May 31, 2019, Friday

We began our day working on our special project for our Dads at morning workshop.  We also had a drawing table set up and Dinosaurs in the dirt for sensory play.  At morning meeting, our question of the day was, "Did Ouronosaurus dinosaurs use their big fin on their back to help regulate their body temperature?"  We pretended to be paleontologists and guess the answer.  We then did some dinosaur research in our dinosaur facts book and learned that, yes, they did use that big fin to help warm themselves or cool themselves.  Very interesting.

Our snack was graham crackers and fruit packs.  After snack we went right to practice for our graduation ceremony.  Just a reminder that for graduation we are wearing headbands and also hats.  Please do not style hair with high ponies or buns, no two ponies or pig tails please.  Bows also will be a problem for head gear.  Low ponies are fine.  Feel free to pack the bow for pictures later.  Thank you so much for your help.

We spent a bunch of time outdoors today.  We are not accustomed to warm days yet!  Long sleeves were understandable, but we changed some friends to make them more comfortable.

We ended our day with an ice pop on the lawn when we were all surprised with a visit from a giant T-REX!  What an amazing way to end our dinosaur unit!  We shared an ice pop with him too!
