May 21, 2019, Tuesday

We love spring time in the Emmanuel Church yard. The trees blossom in sequence, so we are always delighted by blooms!  First the Forsythia, then the Weeping Cherry, and now the Lilacs and Cherry tree.  The children have been gathering the fallen cherry blossoms and tossing them into the air to make it snow.

Our morning workshop tables today were felt board stories, play dough with dinosaur bones, and drawing.  We will continue to work on our graduation show headbands and shirt painting in the morning time.

Our snack was fresh watermelon and crackers.  After snack, we practiced our graduation ceremony and then had Show-and-Share.  We have completed our alphabet series, so the children may bring any item they wish to share.  Thank you for supporting this activity!  After sharing, we went outdoors to soak in this gorgeous day.

After lunch, we continued working on the props for upcoming events, Lunch with Loved Ones, and Graduation.  We ended our day with a visit from  Ms. Sarah Kruck.  She has been coming in to lead yoga with the children.  Today it was sea creature yoga on the lawn.  What fun.  A big thank you to Sarah!
