May 13, 2019, Monday

Our little paleontologists had some new dinosaur bones to discover in our dinosaur land this morning!  We also had a dino fossil making table with play dough and dinosaur skeletons.  A painting table was set up to experiment with rainbow art and special pens that spin like tops to make interesting doodles.

At morning meeting, our questions of the day was, "Do You Like To Swim?"  We wondered if dinosaurs liked to swim.   We also talked about the different dinosaurs and how they walk.  Everyone got a dinosaur, and we determined whether they walked on 2 feet or 4 feet.  Our friends helped to write the numbers for the proper columns to place their dinosaur.

Our snack was apple straws and strawberry yogurt with bananas.  After snack we read ZACK THE ZEBRA, and introduced the letter Z.  We worked on the letter Z page in our HWT workbooks before we went outdoors for some fresh air.

After lunch we practiced for our graduation show by learning new songs.  We will be practicing every day going forward.  We all met in the math room to look at our Dinosaur graph and talk about our new shape of the month, the diamond.
