March 18, 2019, Monday

Nature lover, Claude Monet, said, "I must have flowers, always and always."  We agree!  We noticed that our daffodils have really sprouted high over this past weekend!  We are all very anxious for spring.  Our friends painted Monet style today.  Our morning workshop tables were building a J with jewels for our letter of the week, more fun with colorful slime, and water color painting free style.

Mother Anita held Godly Play.  She told the story of The Faces of Jesus, the Mystery Lenten Puzzle, and Jonah.

Snack today was yogurt, clementines and carrots with ranch.  After snack we went out to enjoy some sunshine.

Our question of the day was, "Are you sleepy?"  Many of our friends answered, "Yes."  Must be from all the parade excitement this past weekend!  We read the letter "J" story, JAGUAR'S JAMBOREE, and worked on our J page in our HWT books.

After lunch we continued our art show preparation and enjoyed free play.  We ended our day back outside.  It turned out to be a lamb of a day.
