March 14, 2019, Thursday

We took a little break from our art studies today to celebrate the Irish!  At morning workshop, we paint stamped shamrocks using a heart stamp.  Mother Anita held Godly Play.  She talked to the children about the season of Lent and told the story of Saint Patrick.

Our snack today was cheese sticks and pretzel sticks.  After snack we went outdoors for fresh air and play.

Our question of the day was, "Do you believe in Leprechauns?"  We answered that after our story about a tricky leprechaun in THE NIGHT BEFORE ST. PATRICK'S DAY.

After lunch we played a fun game of "Hunt for the Pot of Gold."  Each friend had a turn to hide the pot of gold and to search for the pot of gold.  Underneath our pretend gold was a few chocolate pieces wrapped in gold foil!  What a fun way to end the day!
