The stockings have been sewn and hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that St. Nicholas soon will be here! Our morning elf workshop tables were card making station, candy cane painting, Santa Story table and Winter wonderland sensory table.
Our snack was pretzel popcorn mix and oranges. After snack we put on our costumes and told the Christmas Story in the Sanctuary. We sang our show songs and had a merry ole time.
We went outdoors for some fresh brisk air and sunshine.
After lunch we all had a turn to tell the puppet story SANTA AND THE THREE BEARS. You can ask your child what part they got to be in the story. Some may have been a bear, or a bird in the forest, or even the jingle bells of Santa's sleigh. It is important to offer parts in a story that do not involve speaking or language for those that are not yet comfortable with story telling, that way all can participate and enjoy!
We made a special birthday card for a friend today. That is always a special time where we sit in a drawing circle and talk about what we love about our friends that just had a birthday.
We ended our day outside in the sunshine.
A note from Miss Carissa- Please ensure your tuition payment is made today, if received after the 7th we will be applying the $25 late fee. Thank you all for your cooperation! Have a holly jolly weekend :)
