Our snack today was cheese sticks and pretzels.
After snack we had Miss Cathy visit from the Newport Public Library. She read some seasonal stories and then the children made a turkey craft. We always love to see Miss Cathy!
We went out to play in what snow was left. Our friends were very excited about playing in the snow. If you had went trousers in your backpack, it was from snow play! They were having so much fun, we decided to just have them change into their extra clothes. Just a reminder to check your extra clothes bins for proper seasonal clothing. A couple that were pulled this past week had only shorts in them. Thank you!
After lunch we had a dress rehearsal for our songs that we will sing at the feast. Please know that promptly at noon we will parade into the library where the feast tables are set up and sing a few songs. We try to wait for all parents to arrive, but we can only hold the wee ones for so long.
We ended our day outdoors.
