Halloween Day, 2018

We celebrated the joy of Halloween today and a friend's 4th birthday! We enjoyed our morning sharing our costumes and talking about our plans for Halloween night.  At morning meeting we talked about our party and what plans we have coming up in our new month of November.

Our morning table was Halloween Town story center with a new addition of skeleton bones band singing "Get Down Halloween," and 10 Timid Ghost felt story board.

Our snack was specially decorated orange jello fruit cups to look like pumpkins and popcorn and cider.

After snack we read the story IN A HOUSE THAT WAS HAUNTED which was a fun rhyme and repeat story that the children could join in reading, those are the best kind of stories.  We then acted out 5 Little Pumpkins Sitting On a Gate.  Everyone got a turn, so you could ask your child which number pumpkin they were today.  After stories, we went outdoors to enjoy the glorious day.

After lunch we had a birthday brownie treat with gummy bears and sang happy birthday to our friend.  We made a giant birthday card and signed our names to it.  Everyone was a bit tired today from our party last night, so we decided to go back outdoors in the fresh air and play and that is where we ended our day.  We hope everyone has a fun Halloween Night!
