Today we checked our leprechaun traps! Sadly we did not catch one! They were too tricky for us. They even turned our milk green. Maybe next year we will have better luck. We continued our work for the art show. We introduced the Letter M. The preK group began using preschool pencils for their journaling and writing exercises. We mixed (that is a good M word) red and yellow paint together to make a new color. Ask your child what color we made, maybe they will remember. A bunch happens in our day, so do not be alarmed if they do not recall. We have been doing a lot of play with color. We continued work on aprons. Some are splatter painting them and some are tie dying them. We hope to wear them the night of the art show. Our snack was carrots and broccoli and granola bars. We enjoyed the sunshine outside today. We decided it was a lamb day. We have been tracking our Lion and Lamb days. I believe the Lion is the forecast for later this week! Again!
Stone formation for the letter M
Splatter Jackson Pollack style.
Throwing paint is fun.
Look! New pencils!
Trace and erase letter M!
Tie dying. They got to choose 2 or 3 colors.
Number formation practice.
A wonderful example of process art. The children have been completely absorbed lately with working together at the easels just painting and blending colors..all the colors together!
Dress up is a major joy in our day!
Working on the number stacking puzzle together. This one is tricky.
