Manners Matter, that was our discussion today! A fine topic for September beginnings. Mat Man was introduced today. Mat Man is the introduction to Handwriting Without Tears. Did you know you can write every letter and draw most anything with long lines, short lines, big curves and little curves? Work continued on our classroom friends book. Please be on the look out for our special family "school of fish" bulletin board that will soon be at the front of the school.
Very exciting news, the EDS fish tank has arrived! Come meet our new fish.
The children had wonderful sensory tables this morning: finger painting, ocean foam and sand, and our water table ocean and play dough. Wow!
Outdoor recess, thankfully the rain held off. We had lots of bubbles to chase!
