December 11, 2019, Wednesday

Our classroom took on a Whoville look this morning as we hung the children's handprint Christmas wreathes with red bows throughout the room.  We hope you save these and hang them for years to come, they are so lovely.

Our morning workshop tables were Christmas town story telling, Penguins and ice blocks in the water table (which is also a color matching game), and holiday paint stamping.  We did not have a morning meeting.  We had a special dress rehearsal with Abouna in the Sanctuary for our pageant.

Our snack today was cucumbers and tomatoes, veggie sticks and yogurt.  After snack we read The Grinch that Stole Christmas.  After the story, the children worked on a response page answering the question "What would you do if you caught the Grinch stealing your presents?" We also worked o the Letter B in our HWT workbooks today.

We ended our day outside in the fresh fallen snow.  We provided snow paint spray bottles for some fun.
