Today the children explored our new rainforest centers, experimented with sink and float in the water table, put the equator on the map, discovered rainforest animals, had chapel with Miss Jordan, had snack (honey nut cheerios and bananas) had outdoor muddy play, had lunch, listened to a story about the rainforest and participated in a rainforest discussion, graphed animals in the layers of the rainforest, created masks and binoculars and worked on the letter Dd for duck and diving dolphin.
**Construction Alert! The City will be working on the sidewalk down the road tomorrow, we are hoping it will not impact traffic.
Child Outreach paperwork went out today. Please complete and return all paperwork by Monday the 9th.
Newport Public School Child Outreach:
Every January, Emmanuel Day School hosts Newport Child Outreach
screenings. This is a critical screening that ensures children are
meeting age-specific developmental milestones. This is a wonderful
service that is free to all families. Parents can get more information about outreach screenings by visiting

Our next Parent Advisory Board meeting is Tuesday, January 11th at 1pm. We will be discussing upcoming events, field trips and enrollment for next year.
