Today the children explored our new rainforest centers, experimented with sink and float in the water table, wrote about what kind of rainforest animal they would like to be, classified animals, had morning meeting, participated in a rainforest discussion, graphed animals in the layers of the rainforest, had snack (raisins, string cheese, pretzels) had outdoor play, had lunch, created masks and binoculars.
Child Outreach paperwork went out today. Please complete and return all paperwork by Monday the 9th.
Newport Public School Child Outreach:
Every January, Emmanuel Day School hosts Newport Child Outreach screenings. This is a critical screening that ensures children are meeting age-specific developmental milestones. Our next Parent Advisory Board meeting is Tuesday, January 11th at 1pm. We will be discussing upcoming events, field trips and enrollment for next year.
