We had a fun celebrating a birthday and learning from a special guest! Mr. Peter came and taught us all about the organ. It is a fascinating instrument with hundreds of parts! We learned all about how the pipes create different sounds with air generated from a fan in the basement. Mr. Peter even set up a live camera so we could see the pipes in action as he played on the massive keyboard. Thanks Mr. Peter and Ms. Jenn!
The children also explored centers, had snack (goldfish and yogurt) had outdoor play, learned abou the organ from Mr. Peter (who dressed up like Bach!) had lunch, and worked in journals.
