Today the children explored new October centers, wrote spooky stories, painted BIG pumpkins, made orange circle collages, had snack (yogurt, granola bar and raisins) had morning meeting where we talked about bats and the letter of the week T, and sang the Flappy Bat song, had outdoor play and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL sunshine, had pizza and popcorn picnic and listened to a festive story outside!
ITS OFFICIAL! We are going on a Field Trip to pick pumpkins and more! Monday, October 17th at Clark Farm located in Matunuck RI. At the farm we will pick pumpkins, go on a hayride, explore the corn box, meet some animals, check out a corn maze and a cool slide! Entry to this fun spot costs $25 ($10/ child $10/parent and $5 for a large pumpkin). Arrival is at 10am, pack a picnic lunch and plan to stay the day.
