Please arrive by 10am. Ride sharing is encouraged! Please wear your EDS shirt and good farm clothes- prepare to get dirty!
As a school we will read a pumpkin story then pick our own pumpkins! After pumpkin picking families are welcome to spend the day exploring the Farm at their own leisure! They offer hay rides, corn maze, a corn box and much more. Many families are packing a picnic lunch and planning to spend the day enjoying the Fall festivities.
Please email me if you have any questions!
We had a FUN Friday! The children explored centers, then had a SPECTACULAR visit from the Audubon Society of RI. We also had snack (rice cakes with pb and raisins), had outdoor play,
experimented o see if pumpkins sink or float and pizza Lunch!
The Audubon visitors read Bats at the Beach and talked all about Bats, showed us a bat specimen and skull. Then we compared bats and birds and realized they are very different animals, bats have fur and fingers, birds have feathers and beaks. After that, we got to meet a REAL owl named EEC (like eek!). She was a big beautiful owl and we were wonderful guests. What fun!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend,
See you in the pumpkin patch!
:) Miss Carissa
