I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had a peaceful Monday.
The Students- laced stockings for Santa's workshop, explored centers, participated in calendar routines at morning meeting, had a visit from Miss Cathy of the Newport Public Library, listened to an assortment of Christmas stories and made a snow globe craft with her, played outside, learned to make hot chocolate and practiced for the Christmas Show.
EDS Christmas Show Dress Rehersal for ALL students is Thursday, December 18th from 1-2pm.Wear your PJ's!
EDS Christmas Show is Friday, December 19th at 12:00pm. Please note the time change from 1pm to 12pm. This means students should arrive at 11:30 to prepare. We appreciate your flexibility and patience!
EDS Giving Tree- In order to give back this holiday, we have created a giving tree to help local children in need from Pell. The giving tree is located on the front sign in desk. It has a number of gift tags. If you would like to participate please take a tag for the item you intend to give and return the gift wrapped item by MONDAY, December 15th. Thank you for all of your contributions!
The RI Audubon Society will be at EDS this Wednesday at 10am to do a present the story of "The Mitten" by Jan Brett. We are looking forward to this special event!
Thursday, December 11th One of our families and their child will help us explore and celebrate the traditions of St. Lucia day!
