Today your student received a family questionaire in their blue home/school folder. Please take a moment to complete this survey and return it to the EDS mailbox in the church office. This is an anonymous questionaire although it does have a name line (oops!). I appreciate your feedback!
The Students: explored Halloween centers, worked on patterns, told pumpkin stories about their jack-o-lantern, participated in morning meeting, completed a fall flip book, covered a letter t with tickets, learned a new poem, retold two halloweens stories and played outside in the beautiful weather!
Field Trip Alert! Our walking field trip to the Trinity Chruch Pumpkin Patch is next Thursday, October 16th. We are leaving EDS at 11:30. We will arrive in Queen Anne's Square for a picnic lunch, then pick out pumpkins. We will return to school for dismissal. Please remember to send your child in comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing.
EDS Pumpkin Parade- October 22nd from 6:30-7:00. Please return a jack-o-lantern to EDS by Tuesday the 20th so we can prepare them for the parade Thursday evening. We will light all of the pumpkins Thursday evening for our own jack-o-lantern spectacular. We will light them up around the school yard and then have some yummy treats!
