Happy Trails to You! EDS June 2020

Yeehaww! What a fun Tailgate to Graduate! Thank you all for making it such a special day for our children! We loved all of the fun decorations and outfits. Please share your photos and videos on our EDS Parents FB page. The video and more photos will be emailed out in a few days.

Since we needed to keep things short today, I thought I would share my annual end of the year message here :)

THANK YOU ALL FOR ANOTHER TERRIFIC YEAR AT EMMANUEL DAY SCHOOL!

We are so lucky to have such a passionate team of teachers who work hard to nurture and excite our children each day. Thank You Miss Kate, Miss Terri, Miss Sarah and Miss Pam for ALL that you do for our EDS family.

Thank You to our amazing Emmanuel Church family Abouna, Anne, Lori, Debbie, Janet, Lil, Ellen, Vicki, Dave, Ed, Fay, Ron, Pam and Raymond for always believing in us!

We are blessed to have such a special community of supportive and collaborative families. It is our strong partnership that makes Emmanuel Day School such a special place for our children to learn and grow.  By sharing your children with us, we are teaching them the value of discovery, imagination, collaboration and giving them a sense of purpose.

Together, we created a magical "castle" where children feel cherished, confident and inspired.
This year, with your help, we:
Welcomed Abouna to our family! Blasted into school as Super Heroes, watched jack's face light up the spooky night, served a feast to give thanks for our many blessings, captured the magic of Christmas by belting out festive tunes, immersed every inch of our minds and bodies in art, learned how to use Zoom to continue our EDS mission at home and became mother hens!

All of this, while making wonderful friendships and memories. It has been an honor to be a part of such a beautiful journey.

As we say goodbye to another year, please remember that the value of childhood lies in the process. Cherish the brief journey, remember to create and play together to soak up the magic of childhood.

Wishing you a fun and sunny summer!
Keep in touch!
Love,
Miss Carissa
