March 26, Tuesday

This morning we decided to give our doll babies a bubble bath.  We got the wash cloths and towels and Johnson's Baby Wash and cleaned them all up!  Our other workshop tables were bingo marker art and play dough.  We continued to make our X-ray X paper with bony white beads and black paper.

At morning meeting our question of the day was, "Have you ever had an X-ray?"  Everyone answered no to that.  We talked about finishing up our Lion and Lamb Day chart very soon as March is coming to an end.  We danced to our color song before heading to snack.  Snack today was pretzel mix and cheese sticks and carrots.

We read some spring time books and talked about what we like about spring.  Before we went to work on our art work and HWT workbooks, we asked what their favorite famous artist was so far in our studies.  We have talked a lot about Pollock, DaVinci, Monet, Picasso, Van Gogh, Warhol and Cezanne over the last few weeks, so we just were curious about which one they liked the best.  Most of the children are big fans of the Mona Lisa.

We have a special story book of THIS OLD MAN in the classroom that many of our friends have been enjoying lately.  The song is a big hit in our classroom.  After lunch, we had a special request to read the book and sing the song.  We sang it 4 times!  Wow, what a fun way to work on our numbers!

We ended our day out in the sunshine.
