We began our day talking about all of the wonderful things growing in our classroom. We have flower pots with clover, chicken eggs, and butterfly caterpillars! The children have their own countdown calendar in their Chicken Life Cycle Journals. We practiced some songs for our Mother's Day Tea and wrapped special presents. We danced to the Shakey Chicken song. You can find it in the music section right here on this blog. I warn you, it is one of those songs that you will find yourself singing all day. We read 3 stories, pictured below. Our snack was apples, tangerines, and yogurt. We played outside. Some of us made shampoo dough and some of us made paper chicks for our science bulletin board.
